Individual first-aid kit (IFAK) notes
Life has its “surprises”, so I'll maintain my list of stuff I'm using to handle them here, expressed in the form of IFAK. To explain more, it's a bag that first responders use. It contains a collection of medical supplies used in emergencies. It's personal and not supposed to be exhaustive, but it may help someone else as a reminder or something like that.
- IFAK Trauma Survival Kit - IFAK bag with some survival stuff. It would be nice to replace it with waterproof Cordura fabric and make it wider to put more medicine inside.
- https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000970886005.html (L) - titanium pill containers. It won't react weirdly with the pills you decide to take, and it is easy to add to the medicine in your IFAK. I'm carrying some painkillers and activated carbon like that.
- https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005416944946.html - 100ml bottles. I use them for the isopropyl alcohol and iodine mixture (povidone).

- https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005796994334.html - These are the same scissors in a better package our customs appreciate much less. Expect ridiculous delays with a label along the lines of “Awaiting inspection by Law Enforcement Authority representatives”.
As a note, I'd like to point out it's an IFAK. It is useful for a one-time accident, in a car, etc. It's useless if you're hurt for a long time. I got wounded and the experience of bleeding quite a bit reminds me that you should have a small pile of elastic bandages home or some easily available pharmacy nearby. Also, out of curiosity, I'm watching the veterinary videos on surgery to understand the topic more and learn some curiosities along the way. So far, the practice on a silicone mat taught me how terrible I am at that.
